Method

  • In a large wok or skillet, add the vegetable oil and heat over medium-high heat. Slice the chicken breast into strips and cook for about four to six minutes. Add half of the soy sauce halfway through cooking the chicken. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  • Thinly slice the bok choy and add to the hot pan. Sautee for about five minutes and set aside.
  • Add the sesame oil to the pan and let heat. Add the garlic and allow to cook for one to two minutes before adding the remaining vegetables and sautéing for about five minutes. Add the remaining soy sauce and rice vinegar and reduce heat to medium.
  • Add water and hoisin and continue to simmer for another five minutes. Add back the bok choy and chicken and top with sesame seeds.
  • Serve hot.
